Volunteering with us
In 1982 Huddersfield Harambee Association was founded to meet the needs of the black community in Huddersfield. Although our working practices have had to change, our aims remain the same. Our work is especially important in these difficult times, and we are specifically concerned about the health and wellbeing of our seniors.
We have a range of services such as befriending and regular welfare checks. Activities involving learning to use technology, exercise at home, crafts and other social interactions.
